DRAFT, pending legal review. These terms describe how Doorkeeper intends to work with clients. They have not yet been reviewed by an attorney and may change before the first paid client starts.

Terms of service

Draft of October 21, 2026. Contact: john@getdoorkeeper.com · PO Box 141, Centereach, NY 11720

1. The service

Doorkeeper prepares, for property management companies (“you”): a weekly Owner Retention Brief, draft replies to owner emails, draft monthly owner updates, and a list of upcoming deadlines with statute citations. Everything is prepared from the scheduled reports and owner emails you choose to send us, and a person checks every item. Doorkeeper never sends messages on your behalf, never logs in to your software, and doesn’t give legal advice.

2. Free trial

The first 2 weeks are free. Nothing is charged during the trial, and the paid plan starts only if you tell us you want it.

3. Monthly plan and price

4. No contract, cancel anytime

There is no contract and no minimum term. Cancel anytime by replying to any Doorkeeper email or writing to john@getdoorkeeper.com. There is no cancellation fee. Your plan stops at the end of the month you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. You keep the templates, drafts and instructions we made for you.

5. The guarantee

If Doorkeeper hasn't paid for itself in 90 days, you get every dollar back.

6. Your data

How we handle the reports and emails you send us is described in the privacy and data terms.

7. Your responsibilities

You decide which reports and emails to send us and whether to send any draft. You are responsible for having the right to share that information under your management agreements and applicable law, and for confirming statute dates before relying on them.

8. Liability (proposed)

Doorkeeper’s total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the plan in the 3 months before the claim. This section will be finalized after legal review.

9. Changes to these terms

We will post changes here with a new date and email clients at least 30 days before a change takes effect.
